Figured Id carry this over from the Bassman thread.
I have a Squire Vista Jagmaster with active EMG's, and a Jaguar (with Dunken designed humbuckers I have not got around to switching yet). I play through a Boss Turbo Overdrive pedal from the early 90's, and have my 69' Bassman sitting on top of my Marshall Cab (which was played in Lars and the Bastards, and the transplants).
At the moment the only mod Im considering is adding a reverb unit somehow, as I hate the fakeness of digital, and am dieing for some spring verb. And NOONE sells a standalone reverb unit that I can find.
So what is your setup?

I play a Strat with a little distortion thru a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Is anyone here familiar with the Hot Rod? I've never tried changing out the tubs, but I hear you can do it. I just don't know what I would change them to. My style is blues with a little southern rock.

I tried a few reverb pedals, settled on a Boss RV5. I find I can dial out a lot lot of the metallic *clang* that is inherant in digital pedals. Quite a few usable tones I find.
See Bassman thread for my setup.

i play a gibson les paul studio from the early 90s with 490/498 Pickups over a Samick T50R tube amp with an additional 2x12 speaker cab. i use the DigiTech Hot Rod Rock Distortion for distorted sound, and i am very happy with this setup.
